# Governance

The ENVISAGE RHU, promoted by Bordeaux University Hospital under the scientific and technical responsibility of Prof. Modine, is based on structured governance guaranteeing the strategic coherence of the program, the scientific quality of the work and the operational efficiency of its implementation.

The project's organization is based on a clear articulation between strategic steering, responsible for defining the major orientations and ensuring alignment with the national objectives of the France 2030 program, and operational coordination, dedicated to the day-to-day monitoring of scientific, administrative and financial activities.

This structuring aims to guarantee the project's scientific robustness, the transparency of its management and compliance with the contractual commitments made to the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR).

\- Pr Frédéric Lesage - WP2 & WP3 leader - ICM
\- Dr Julien Ternacle - WP3 leader - CHU de Bordeaux
\- Tristan Slots - 3mensio
\- Sophie Deckx - Materialise
\- Nicolas Padoy - IHU Strasbourg

 Scientific Committee (SAB)

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is an independent advisory body responsible for providing scientific and strategic expertise on the development and results of Envisage.
It meets at least once a year.

**His missions include:**
\- Scientific evaluation;
\- Proposal of methodological choices;
\- Identification of areas for improvement;
\- Scientific consistency between Work Packages.

**Composition**
\- Dr Juan Granada - Co-Chairman - Montefiore Clinic, NY (USA)
\- Pr Francesco Maisano - Co-Chairman - San Raffaele Hospital (Italy)
\- Dr João Cavalcante - Member - Minneapolis Heart Insitute Foundation, MN (USA)
\- Dr Julien Dreyfus - Member - Centre cardiologique du Nord, Saint-Denis (France)
\- Dr Théo Petzel - Member - Hôpital Lariboisière, Paris (France)
\- Pr Bernard Prendergast - Member - Cleveland Clinic London (UK)
\- Dr Stephan Von Bardeleben - Member - University Medical Center of Mainz (Germany)

 The International Advisory Board (IAB)

The International Advisory Board (IAB) is an independent advisory body made up of internationally recognized experts in the scientific and medical fields covered by the program.

Its mission is to provide an external, strategic and forward-looking perspective in order to strengthen RHU's scientific excellence and international visibility.

**Its missions include:**

- Providing independent scientific expertise
- Contributing to the program's international positioning
- Recommendation of areas for improvement
- Contribution to intermediate and final program reviews

 Annual General Meeting

The General Assembly is the program's plenary governance body. It brings together all the institutional, academic, hospital and, where appropriate, industrial partners involved in the RHU.
Its mission is to ensure an overall vision of the program, validate its strategic orientations and guarantee the proper articulation between the partners.

As such, the General Assembly:

**1. Defines and validates strategic orientations**

- Approves the program's major scientific, clinical and organizational orientations.
- Validates major developments likely to affect the structuring of the RHU.
- Ensures overall consistency of the project with contractual commitments and objectives set by the funder.

**2. Examines activity reports**

- Reviews scientific, financial and administrative reports.
- Assesses overall program progress.
- Analyzes performance and impact indicators.

**3. Decides on structuring decisions**

- States on the possible integration or withdrawal of partners.
- Validates substantial modifications to the budget or governance.
- Approves strategic adjustments proposed by the Steering Committee.

**4. Ensures consultation between partners**

- Provides a forum for exchange and transparency.
- Fosters coordination and the circulation of information.
- Monitors compliance with each partner's commitments.

## Work Package Managers

The RHU ENVISAGE scientific program is structured into complementary Work Packages (WP), organized according to an integrated logic ranging from data structuring to the clinical validation of artificial intelligence tools.

Each Work Package (WP) contributes to a key stage in the project's value chain, ensuring coherence between methodological development, data production and clinical application.
Each WP is placed under the responsibility of a scientific referent in charge of implementing the defined objectives.

**WP leaders ensure:**

- Coordination of the teams involved;
- Scheduling and deliverables;
- Production of expected scientific results;
- Reporting to the coordination team.

**List of Work Packages:**

- WP0 - Administration and coordination of project management - Responsible: Pr Thomas MODINE
- WP1 - Data collection - Clinical valve cohorts - Responsables : Dr Walid BEN ALI & Dr Guillaume BONNET
- WP2 - Data management and pre-processing - Responsables : Pr Frédéric LESAGE & Dr Guillaume BONNET
- WP3 - Development and clinical validation of support algorithms - Responsables : Pr Frédéric LESAGE & Dr Julien Ternacle
- WP4 - Communication, dissemination, integration into practice, and technology transfer - Pr Thomas Modine
